Travis Darshan
Travis Darshan is an independent mathematics and Lean 4 formal verification researcher, author, advocate, entrepreneur, and recording artist. His current research centers on the Riemann Hypothesis and a large-scale formal proof development in Lean 4, where mathematical reasoning is encoded and checked step by step by machine.
His research includes RH-Formalization, a compiled Lean 4 library of more than 125,000 lines and over 2,700 verified theorems, together with a related mathematical manuscript and publicly archived research materials. The project’s current machine-certified result establishes a conditional route to the Riemann Hypothesis, with the remaining unconditional step forming its active research frontier.
His creative work also extends to music. In 2026, Travis Darshan began releasing original recordings with his debut single, “Don’t Leave Me,” marking the beginning of his work as a recording artist and adding another dimension to a body of work that spans both analytical and creative pursuits.
Beyond mathematics and music, Travis Darshan has created projects spanning artificial intelligence, education, and advocacy. On November 6, 2023 — the day OpenAI introduced custom GPTs — he created Tristan’s Pick GPT, an early use of the new GPT format.
